La Bergerie is a charming, typical Sicilian house built in the end of 1800 as a sheep shelter ("bergerie" in French as some of the roots of the family come from French).It became the family home and recently opened to guests and travelers.
Set on a quiet cliff, about halfway up a stairway leading from the sea level to the upper town,
a strategic position for those who want to enjoy the city with its historical sites and the nightlife and the activities that the beaches can offer, all lulled by the sound of the sea.
The terraces, open to the sunshine, are a real treat to have a meal or sip a drink looking out over the Mediterranean Sea and the Isola Bella.
